An imaginative tale about a man’s mid-life crisis. Imprisoned in memories, the man of a certain age struggles to come to terms with the feeling of physical and spiritual endings.<\/p>\n

The End<\/em> is the concluding part of K\u0101rlis V\u012btols’ non-narrative trilogy of animated films. Its preceding parts are The Garden of Fetish<\/em> (2006, Oberhausen) and Eclipse<\/em> (2010, Annecy). The End<\/em> has been shown in the programes of more than fifteen film festivals in Latvia, Europe and America. The Latvian National Museum of Art has acquired the film for its collection.<\/p>\n
